How it works
From one loop to a full arrangement in five steps
You bring one full loop, with each element as its own file. Skeleton turns it into complete arrangements with transitions. You compare them, change what you like and export the result back to your DAW.
Step 1 · Setup
Choose genre, tempo and key
Pick one of eight genres. The genre sets the usual tempo range and the elements a track in that style needs.
Set the tempo, and let Skeleton detect the key from your loops or set it yourself. You can also follow the layout of an annotated reference arrangement.
Step 2 · Structure
Pick a song structure
Choose a layout such as A-B-A-B, a long breakdown or Build-Drop ×2. You see every section with its length in bars and the energy curve of the whole song.
Any section can be made longer or shorter with the plus and minus buttons.
Step 3 · Elements
Add your stems
Build a loop in your DAW and export its stems. Drop the files into Skeleton.
Skeleton maps each stem to an element group such as kick, bass or pad and checks it against the template. A stem with the wrong length or key, or a bass that masks the kick, comes with a one-click fix: trim, transpose or sidechain.
For every group you decide how its stems are placed in the arrangement: as layers, as call and response, or as the template suggests.
Step 4 · Arrange
Generate, compare and reshape
Skeleton builds the arrangement: which stems play in which section, with risers, fills and crashes between them. Ask for a new variation to get different choices on the same structure, or type a tweak such as “longer intro”.
In the storyboard, every section is a card. Drag cards to reorder them, pull a corner to change the length, and click to switch an element on or off. Then render the result as a new version next to the old one.
Step 5 · Export
Finish in your DAW
Export the full mix, the stems and a MIDI file with tempo and section markers. The stems add up to the full mix, and the mix leaves headroom for mixing.
If you work in Ableton Live 11 or 12, Skeleton can merge the arrangement into a copy of your own Live set. Your devices and mixer stay as they are.

What else it does
21 element groups
Kick, clap, hats, bass, chords, pad, vocal and more. Skeleton suggests a group from the file name and from how the stem sounds. You can change it at any time.
Transitions included
Risers, downlifters, drum fills, snare rolls and crashes are synthesised to fit your track. You can also use your own sounds.
Runs on your computer
Analysis, arranging and rendering happen locally. Your audio is never uploaded.

FAQ
Questions
What exactly does the demo do?
It is the full app for 14 days, with three limits: one project, a short burst of noise every 30 seconds in exported WAV files, and three exports with an Ableton Live set or MIDI.
Enter a licence key and the limits are gone. There is nothing to reinstall, and your project stays.
Does Skeleton make the music for me?
No. It arranges the loops you bring: it decides how long each section is, which parts play where, and how to get from one section to the next. The sounds and ideas are yours.
Think of it as a fast first draft of the structure, which you then finish in your DAW.
Which DAWs does it work with?
Any DAW: the exports are standard WAV files and MIDI. With Ableton Live 11 or 12 you can also merge the arrangement straight into a copy of your own Live set.
How many computers can I use it on?
One licence can be activated on up to three computers. You can move an activation by deactivating it in Settings.
Mac or Windows?
Both. One licence works on either, on up to three computers in any mix. The Mac version is a universal app for Apple silicon and Intel; the Windows version is 64-bit.
Do I need to be online?
To activate your licence, and once to start the demo. After that a licensed copy checks in about once a day when it can, and keeps working offline for 30 days at a time.
